Pleasantly Annoyed

Just a quick post.  I was really annoyed tonight. I won't say about what - just annoyed.  And after I silently complained to myself about the situation for several minutes it hit me what a great story element it would make.  There are so many things in everyday life which, if used well, could be great in a story.  I probably overlook a lot of them. I'm just very glad that once in a while I catch one.  I'm going to try to be more aware of some of the little things, the everyday things, which could make a story seem more real, more suspenseful, or generally more interesting.  I love it when writing sneaks up on me.
